2023 Vintage
The best vintages often feel effortless, and 2023 was one of them. On our Calistoga estate, a long, cool spring delayed budbreak and flowering, setting the stage for an extended, steady growing season. Summer remained mild, with consistent ripening across the small block of Cabernet Sauvignon that anchors our property. The even weather allowed flavor, color, and tannin to develop in unison. Winemaker Ashley Hepworth's first vintage working with the Marineau Mills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon feels like a resounding success.
